Well Nottoway was a little disappointing, since we pulled up on a construction site!!!!! Of course, the one I was most looking forward to, but I got a few shots. We read up on the history of Nottoway on our way to Houma's House. This is some of what we learned ... Nottoway is 53,000 square feet!! It can boast that it is the biggest remaining Plantation. Although there was a Plantation called Bocage that was bigger but it burnt down and could not be salvaged. Nottoway reopens in October ... I can't wait to see it!
